Hi everyone! Today I’m doing something I’ve been wanting to do for a while and I’m finally getting around to it! Im excited to bring you guys a blog & video duo! woohoo!!
So at the end of this blog will be a link to the video on youtube that goes along with it! Make sure to click the link when you’re done reading!

Todays blog is a recipe on how to make applesauce!! A few years ago I was cooking day in and day out. Breakfast, lunch and dinner for 2 people, 5 days a week. This may sound a bit grueling to you but I loved it! Cooking for me is creating and I love to create! I can’t wait until the day I have my own kitchen and can cook up a storm! Anywho, I don’t cook as much now due to my schedule but I do try and get into the kitchen as often as possible. I was also making a lot of baby friendly foods since there was a 1 year old in the house at the time, and this brought me to my discovery of applesauce. Ok I know I didn’t discover applesauce, but guys, its so easy to make that I’m obsessed! And its great for kids!!
So my boyfriend’s mum is going to the doctor and when she gets back she might be feeling a bit under the weather. So I’m surprising her when she gets home with a fresh batch of homemade applesauce. Its easy to eat and a great comfort food!
Hope you guys enjoy!

APPLESAUCE
(recipe)

This recipe is made for a big batch, about 10-15 cups worth. If you’re making it for a smaller amount of people id suggested cutting all the portions in half.

What you’re going to need:

* Apples – 8
* Cinnamon – 1 teaspoon
* Honey – 2 table spoons
* Water – about a cup and a half

Instructions:

* Peel and chop your apple’s
* Toss the apple’s into a big pot
* Add your cinnamon, honey, and water
* Put the pot on the stove: medium to low heat
* Place the lid on it, and let it come to a simmer.
* Mix it every 5 – 10 minutes
* 25-40 minutes later your sauce should be ready
* Mash well and empty the pot into a container
* Let it cool
* Serve cold (or warm depending on how you like it)

That’s all folks! Easy enough hu?
This really is a great little comfort/desert food. Kids love it and I’ve found most adults do too 😉
I hope you guys like this recipe! Let me know how it goes if you make it!
